Blessed by Pastor Peter Tan Chi’s message entitled “When God seems silent, be patient”, this message made me realized that I am in the Spiritual Wilderness right now. Spiritual wilderness is when God is molding you to the person that He wants you to be. Teaching you and touching your life.
In my case, I think that God wants me to live a purposeful life, transform me into the person that He wants me to be, be emotionally intelligent ( I admit I fail big time on this aspect), and many more (only God knows).
While I am into this spiritual wilderness, I am therefore committing EVERYDAY to:
Read the bible;
Forgive the people who hurt me;
Learn new things;
Be a better mom, wife, daughter, friend and citizen;
Change my mindset from fixed to growth mindset;
Look and focus on the good and positive things in life;
Find joy in everything;
Develop myself to be a better person;
Pray everyday (this is given, I will just write it here :-)); and
Be contented, dependable, generous, kindhearted, patient, self-controlled, and, virtuous;
I know I am not perfect, but I trust God that everyday He will help me to live the life that He wants me to be. Of course, I will fail, but I will keep on reminding myself that God is with me, encouraging me to keep moving and to focus on Him, because His love is unending and His mercy and grace abounds forever.
How about you? Are you also in the spiritual wilderness? If so, what are you committing to do everyday?
